We love weddings.
We love the celebration and the champagne and how gorgeous the bride is. Most of all we love the tears of joy and the groom catching his breath as he sees his bride come down the isle for the first time. We capture your moments, the posed ones and the not so posed ones. We capture the look and the sighs and smiles and thrill of your wedding day.
Who we are
Zuri Photography is led by Shannon Henning Smith and her father, Theo, who are both experienced wedding photographers.

Zuri Photography is based in Hilton in the KZN Midlands. The team travels throughout South Africa to shoot weddings and events.

Says Shannon:
“My goal, my dream, like a good song brings goose bumps to your arms and deepens your soul. I want my photographs to not only capture a memory but inspire the person that is looking at them. Inspire them to smile, to laugh, to allow an atrocity to be known. Whatever the story is that is being told through the photograph. I want it to make an impact.

I have since been inspired by photographers such as Ernest Cole (Graduate of NYIP), Kevin Carter, Greg Marinovich, Annie Leibovitz and Dorothea Lange.”

What we offer:

Our packages are very competitive for what we offer our clients. All our weddings are shot with two photographers.

The capturing of your moments starts the night before the wedding. We come and photograph your jewelry and perfume and dress and all the accessories, for both Bride and Groom, as well as the bridal party.

The day of your Love Celebration we start out early with you. One photographer will be with the Groom and the other with the Bride.

From this moment we capture every look of love and tear till the night draws to a close and all formalities are done.
